SLFSC News
Glitter & Glide Fun Skate for skaters in CanSkate Stage 5 and 6 and Star 1-3. Registration will open for SLFSC skaters October 20 and to surrounding clubs November 1st. Registration will close on November 30.

Apparel Orders
Apparel order deadline is Wednesday October 15th. Visit the google form to submit your order
Invoices will be sent on uplifter and are due by October 16th at 10pm
Fundraising Requirements
Fundraising is not required for our Preschool CanSkate, CanSkate and Teen/Adult Skate programs.
For all our STAR programs we require fundraising. To see the requirements for each program visit the registration button below.

PreCan & CanSkate
PreCan is a learn to skate program for preschool aged children. CanSkate is Skate Canada's nationally recognized flagship program. It is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development.

PreSTARSkate
PreStar Is an introduction program that teaches the skills to move past the CanSkate level and into the Jr Star and STARSkate programs. For skaters working on CanSkate badges 4-6 and who are wanting to move on from the basic learn to skate programs
Learn MoreJr STARSkate
A program for skaters who wish to continue with figure skating but are not ready for STARSkate. It is a group run program, but skaters have the option to purchase extra ice and lessons from a coach to start working towards the Skate Canada tests
STARSkate
Offers skaters fundamental development in figure skating skills in ice dance, skills, free skate and artistic skating. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Assessments through a nationally standardized assessment system
About Sylvan Lake Figure Skating Club
The Sylvan Lake Figure Skating Club is located 10 minutes west of Red Deer in the beautiful Sylvan Lake.
We are a not-for-profit Skate Canada sanctioned club with a parent executive dedicated to enhancing and promoting skating in our community.
We offer a variety of programs from learn to skate, recreational skating, adult skating and figure skating.
Our club's goal is to enable everyone to participate in skating throughout their lifetime for fun, fitness and/or achievement.
Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers, who work alongside our professional skating coaches, our club has been successful for over 50 years.
